SHEIN is doing a few things right… the amount of promotions becomes irritating. They have a weird sizing issue and a surprisingly pleasant cart experience!
In this ‘Site Unseen’ video, I take a look at Shein, a popular shopping website from China known for its good deals and discounts. While it is indeed a popular site, there are a few aspects of their business model that I object to. Today, we’ll be exploring their website, going through the shopping experience, and conducting a deep dive analysis of the user experience from beginning to end. Some issues I’ve noticed and would like to highlight include problems with navigation, over-promotion, and certain aspects of the shopping process and product display. Overall, it’s a fairly well-laid-out experience, though the checkout process is somewhat unusual. They also have some additional features that I don’t find necessary and which seem to be presented at the wrong time. Other than that, enjoy the analysis. I’ll see you later.
